About the Recipe
This Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese is the ultimate Southern comfort dish — rich, creamy, smoky, and finished with the unmistakable zesty kick of Hill’s BBQ Sauce. Tender pulled pork layered over creamy, Velveeta-based mac and cheese creates a perfect balance of cheesy indulgence and bold BBQ flavor.
Whether you’re feeding a crowd, hosting a family dinner, or looking for the perfect way to use leftover pulled pork, this recipe hits every note: creamy, tangy, savory, and downright addictive. Once it comes out of the oven, it’s golden, bubbling, and guaranteed to disappear fast.

Ingredients
3 cups uncooked elbow pasta
4 tablespoons salted butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
2 cups 2% milk
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1⅓ cups cottage cheese
2 cups sour cream
4 cups pulled pork (prepared with Hill’s BBQ Sauce)
1¼ cups Hill’s BBQ Sauce
Preparation
Instructions
1. Preheat and Cook the Pasta
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Cheese Sauce
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add flour, salt, and sugar; stir until smooth and slightly bubbly.
Gradually whisk in the milk and bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the Velveeta until completely melted.
Remove from heat, then stir in cottage cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the Mac and Cheese
In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta with the cheese mixture and stir until fully coated.
In a separate bowl, mix the pulled pork with Hill’s BBQ Sauce until evenly coated.
Spoon the pulled pork mixture evenly over the mac and cheese layer.
4. Bake to Perfection
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.
5. Serve and Enjoy
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Drizzle with a little extra Hill’s BBQ Sauce if you like an extra zesty finish.
Pro Tip
For extra texture, sprinkle shredded cheddar or crispy fried onions on top before the final 20 minutes of baking.
