Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie or slow-cooked)

  • ¾ cup Hill’s BBQ Sauce (plus extra for topping and dipping)

  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 2 tablespoons butter or cooking oil

  • ½ cup diced red onion (optional)

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

  • Sour cream, sliced jalapeños, or avocado for garnish (optional)

Preparation

1. Prepare the Chicken


  • In a skillet over medium heat, add shredded chicken and ½ cup of Hill’s BBQ Sauce.

  • Stir until the chicken is evenly coated and heated through, about 5–7 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and set aside.


2. Assemble the Quesadillas


  • Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.

  • Place one tortilla in the pan and sprinkle ¼ cup of cheese evenly over half.

  • Add a layer of BBQ chicken, a small handful of diced onion and cilantro if using, then top with another ¼ cup of cheese.

  • Fold the tortilla in half and press gently.


3. Cook Until Golden and Crispy


  • Cook each quesadilla for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

  • Remove from heat and slice into wedges.


4. Finish with Hill’s BBQ Sauce


  • Drizzle warm quesadilla slices with Hill’s BBQ Sauce for that perfect zesty kick.
